Re-imagining a Pet Care Brand

THE NEED

Launched in 2018, Milwaukee Paws Pet Care has been on a steady trajectory for growth. Dog walking, pet sitting and positive reinforcement training services are just the beginning. Over the coming 12-18 months, they are aiming to become the first pet training facility in downtown Milwaukee. As they move toward their dream of a training and retail facility, they wanted to make sure that their approach to marketing was memorable.

Develop a polished brand message that would more clearly explain the value they provide and set them apart from their competitors. Produced a visual look and feel that is fresh, modern and elevates the character and tone of their brand.

In developing a new identity, we wanted to ensure that the mood board and brand colors allow the brand’s personality and warmth to shine through. Each color was derived from something animal related while keeping the vibrancy front and center.

Designing a logo that says it all

We wanted Milwaukee Paws’ logo to be immediately recognizable, clearly communicate what they do. As the most visible component of their brand, we designed it to be tasteful, ownable, simple and strong.
