Emerald-Jane (EJ)
I’m most energized by helping people uncover the deeper meaning behind what they’re building. The purpose beneath the work that gives it clarity and impact. Storytelling has always been at the core of how I do that. It is how I make sense of ideas, people, and possibility.
Born and raised in Ghana, I migrated to the United States in my teens. Those formative years were filled with ambition, curiosity, and a belief in what could be. While I was drawn to the scale and energy of the American market, my leadership remains grounded in a West African worldview centered on community, shared ownership, and deep respect for human connection.
My career began in television, where I learned the power of story to inform, move, and connect. That foundation deepened when I founded myWHY. I believe story is the connective tissue that brings us together as humans, and a brand’s ability not just to communicate, but to compel, is profoundly important.
That belief shapes how I build teams, culture, and brands, and how I help others create work that resonates deeply, builds trust, and lasts.
